A pair of high-quality Heavy duty greaseable Extended Rear Lift Shackles for the Hilux pickup, Mk2, Mk3 & LN106 etc with parallel side plates, fits models as listed and manufactured for RoughTrax by Karsons.
These new boxed Zinc plated shackles are 50mm longer than standard, they come with huge 10mm side plates and yellow Polyurethane bushes, what's more, the pins are now greaseable!

Whats the lift?

The Rear lift shackles length from centre to centre of the two mounting pins is 135mm whereas the original Toyota shackle is approx 85mm centre to centre. This, however, does not mean you lift by 50mm.
As with any lift shackle, the amount of lift a shackle will provide is dependent upon the state of the rear springs on the existing vehicle. Worn springs have less of an arch, therefore the shackle will be at a shallow angle which in turn gives less lift.
On vehicles with new or springs with more of an arch, then the shackles are more vertical providing more lift.
Always ensure your existing shock absorber length will accept the additional height created by a lift shackle.

Lift shackles are great, not only from a visual point of view but also when carrying loads they can make the rear appear slightly higher.

Fits Models:
Mk2 - 08/1983 - 07/1988,
Mk3 - 08/1988 - 07/1997, LN106 and other Imports with shackles that have parallel side plates.

Use Extended Rear Shock Absorbers, Pedders SUSP013 or Monroe SUSM009 if required.
