Coronavirus Update

Message to Our Customers:

*Due to new COVID-19 restrictions and Brexit we have suspended ALL deliveries outside the UK except for USA, Canada, Iceland, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. We are continually assessing the situation. Apologies for any inconvenience caused during these difficult times*

We are pleased to announce that we are open as normal during lockdown - Overseas shipping partially suspended - please check below.

• Following the guidelines set out by Government, RoughTrax has taken social distancing and hygiene steps to allow online and telephone ordering (albeit a scaled down operation).
• Customers wishing to collect from our Keynsham store, please order online and use the 'Collect from RoughTrax' service at checkout or call in advance.

Delivery:

Next day is not guaranteed on any order, in fact it can be up to 5 days (subject to area). However you will receive the usual tracking details as provided by the relevant courier service selected. Free delivery to selected mainland areas remains the same, ONLINE orders only above £90 (inc vat) although delivery time may well be up to 5/6 days depending on area. We cannot offer any 'Timed' or Saturday delivery times. Couriers are doing their best within Government Guidelines and limited staff so please bear with them/us during these unprecedented times. They will all be running their own Covid-19 delivery policies.

Unfortunately there are extra delays due to the various lock down areas in place.

Collect from RoughTrax service:

• We would prefer it if you use the website to place any orders. When you get to the checkout please choose 'Collect from RoughTrax'.
• Upon receipt of your order we will have the goods ready and bring them to the front of the store.
• If you enter the shop you must wear a mask, this for your protection and ours.

Customers Not Resident in the UK:

31st January 2024 - We are currently only delivering to USA, Canada, Iceland, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand

Please note that across the board Couriers have experienced delays and huge back logs due to customs and Covid.

France - Significant changes to French VAT law took place on the 1st January 2022.
Unfortunately for the foreseeable future due to these new rules RoughTrax will not be able to supply any goods to our French customers.
Customers to “Arrange own shipping” is also not an option under these new rules due to the invoicing and customs requirements with shipping agencies etc.
The management and collection of Import VAT will be transferred from French Customs to the French Tax Authority and Postponed VAT Accounting (PVA) will become compulsory for all VAT registered businesses importing goods to France from non-EU countries.
We will not be applying for a French Vat number to handle these requirements.

Norway - Unfortunately, it is with regret that due to the new Norwegian VAT rules enforced by the Norwegian government, we will no longer be able to supply any goods to our Norwegian customers. As you are probably aware this came into force as of the 1st April 2020 and we have looked long and hard at these rulings to see if there was any way we could continue to supply our products. These enforced rulings by the Government can be found online. It is not a decision taken lightly but an enforced decision and we are truly sorry for this outcome.
