Owens Rear Leaf Spring Kit (Pair)

A High-quality Hilux Rear Leaf Spring Kit, with UK Manufactured 4+2 leaf springs, (6 leaves with Dynamic Damper fitted), comes with all the hardware and bushes to fit the Hilux Pickup Mk4 & Mk5 4x4 as listed with Independent Front Suspension (IFS) models listed are in specs.

Every part of this kit comprises only of high-end branded components right the way through from the spring manufacturer to the greaseable pins & shackles with urethane bushes, so we know this kit will offer excellent product durability and ride for your truck.

Kit contains:
2x Owens UK manufactured original design 4x4 rear leaf springs to OE specification and spring rates fitted with original style metalastic front bushes.
8x Nolathane rear of leaf spring & chassis bushes
2x Karsons Greaseable rear spring front eyelet pins
2x Karsons Greaseable spring shackles
4x Karsons "U" bolts (x2 pairs) - Torque 90ft/lb - 123nm

What Owens offer in their manufacturing:
Identical design to the original Toyota spring with the same spring rate specification & ride quality as the genuine original.
Springs also comprise of leaf spring wear pads between the leaves as per the original Toyota design; Leaf spring wear pads prevent the leaves from wearing out on each other thus increasing the life of the leaf spring.

• Spring Material - The highest quality spring steel shaped by hot camber forming process.
• Shot Peening - Carefully controlled shot peening process significantly increases the fatigue life of the spring.
• Fitted with OE style metalastic front eyelet spring bushes pressed in.
• At the front of the spring is also fitted a " Dynamic Damper", something that many cheaper brands simply don't include.
• The springs are painted in a "Transport" paint, as with all suspension components supplied, paint is not covered under warranty due to the very nature and position of the component.

Fitting Tip:
Tighten all spring retaining bolts and shackles when the vehicle is at normal ride height, this is done once the vehicle is assembly, lowered back to the ground with the weight back on the suspension and bounced a few times, this allows the bushes to settle in and vital for correct final assembly.
