Details

A replacement Air conditioning tensioner idler bearing manufactured by leading suppliers SKF for the LandCruiser 80 series diesel from 08/1991-01/1998, we have also shown the type of pulley that this bearing fits into in our images.

Important: This centre bearing can only be used on Toyota's original fitted pulley - Toyota's new pulley 88440-35030 that replaces the original is completely encased and can not be removed - see Nb below.

Please nb:
On the 80 series diesel with the 1HDT/1HDFT the bearing is usually held into the pulley via a series of "peened" indentations, these will need to be relieved prior to pressing out the old bearing.
The new bearing is retained by the outer washer and bolt when re-fitted.

Before the only option was a new genuine Toyota air-con Tensioner/Idler pulley complete at over £90.
RoughTrax has now sourced a replacement Air Con Idler bearing which fits into the centre of the idler
Manufactured by one of the leading bearing brands SKF.
Easily replaced and a very cheap alternative to a complete pulley.
