A Genuine Toyota chain type spare wheel carrier 51900-0K130 assembly for the Hilux pickup GUN125 & GUN26 models Only.
Other carriers may look the same but they are not compatible, this is only designed for the Hilux GUN125 / GUN126 models.
- The spare wheel carrier is bolted to the chassis via two bolts and used for winding the spare wheel up and down with the spare wheel jack handle kit that has the hook on the end.
- You access the carrier through the hole above the rear step bumper area.
- When you lower the spare all the way down you simply detach the carrier holder from the centre of the wheel. Winding it all the way back up will secure the spare against the chassis preventing it from dropping down.
- It's well worth winding the spare up and down and lubricating the mechanism every so often as these are often found seized.
Please note, this is the original chain type carrier with the correct top chassis mount fixing points.
