Black Anodised Aluminium 30mm Wheel Spacers - Qty 4

Set of four, Black 30mm wide solid billet aluminium wheel spacers. Machined from one piece of solid billet aluminium. Each spacer is fitted with 6 high tensile studs that your original wheel will bolt to using your original wheel nuts, and 6 new nuts to bolt the spacer to the hub as pictured in the product images. This effectively extending the hub by 30mm - PCD: 6 x 139.7.

Fitting:

• Never use Air guns when fitting spacers to hub or wheel to spacer.
• Always ensure wheels and spacers are torqued to original vehicle wheel specification
• Always check that you have sufficient threads holding the spacer to the hub and that the stud is protruding through the nut - if in doubt use the extended stud option as per images.
• As with any component, once fitted always ensure all components are torqued correctly and that every part is secure. 
• As when fitting any wheel always check torques after a few miles
• Not Hub-Centic design - The 6 tapered nuts provided with the spacers centralise the spacer.

Wheel spacers are usually fitted on 4x4's to increase the vehicle track width which is ideal to stabilise lifted vehicles as well as to ensure aftermarket or alternative alloy wheels fit correctly without fouling any suspension, steering, hub or braking components.

What to check:

• Does your vehicle need extended front studs? - Please see note below
• Does your vehicle have clearance on the bodywork when on full lock? - Please see note below

As a tip, prior to ordering pull your wheel away from your hub by 30mm to mimic a spacer and turn from lock to lock to ensure you have sufficient clearance to bodywork.

Extended Front Wheel Stud Information;

As many people are aware, certain models have a very short original front wheel stud, this is mainly due to the fact that Toyota use a wheel nut with a shank fitting allowing the nut to recede into the wheel giving a good purchase.

Wheel spacers use a taper nut system to bolt the spacer to the hub, this means that on certain models the stud does not protrude all the way through the nut which isn't ideal in our opinion.

With safety in mind, we have therefore taken the decision to supply the option of the spacers with 12 new extended front wheel studs which should be fitted to the hub prior to fitting the spacer, if you require the extended stud kit simply tick the box option above the orange "add to basket" button.

The new extended studs we supply are of universal length, 62mm long including the spline, 67mm overall and made of High-Grade 30MnB3 high tensile steel, 10.9 in tensile strength, thread size 12mm x 1.5mm as per standard. The extended studs will require cutting to length for the specific vehicle the spacers are being fitted to.

Due to short supply we can ONLY supply studs to those customers that have purchased spacers from RoughTrax.

If you fit the spacer first and measure the extra length you will require you can then cut the studs to your required length prior to fitting.

Remember, always a good idea to cut one and fit first to make sure you have measured correctly!

The vehicles we are aware of that will/might (depending on wheel type) require extended wheel studs are;

Hilux Pickups from 2005-ON (Mk6, Mk7 & Mk8)
Hilux Surfs from 1996-2003 (KZN185, RZN185 & VZN185)
Land Cruiser 90 series, 120 series, 150 series

(but always check with any model that upon fitting that you have sufficient stud protruding through the nuts - we can always supply extra studs after if required)
