Nissens Aluminium Radiator - HDJ80/81 (1990-1996)

A New Diesel Radiator for the Land Cruiser 4.2TD HDJ80 & HDJ81 models listed fits both Automatic & Manual Transmissions now manufactured by Nissens - a well-respected manufacturer of aftermarket radiators and one of the few remaining that still produce this radiator.

• Fits January/1990-1996/August - Rad cap is on the Right as you look into the engine bay.

Please note:

• This Branded Nissens radiator, as per our own images, only fits models with the radiator cap situated on the Passengers side when sat in the vehicle or right-hand side of the radiator when looking into the engine as pictured - please do check this prior to ordering.
• This radiator fits models with Automatic transmissions as well as manual transmissions you will notice at the base of the radiator the two copper fittings where the automatic transmission fluid pipes connect onto, when fitting this radiator to a manual gearbox model you simply ignore these pipes as if they were not there, nothing will go in and nothing will come out of these fitting.
• As with many car manufacturers now, Toyota included, they produce one radiator for both transmission options which helps keeps overall production costs down, our manufacturer has also done the same.

The Tech:
This new radiator is constructed as per Original Equipment design and materials, it features a new 40mm thick Alloy Core that has been solder flux coated then oven baked for 45 mins. this allows the solder to then flow throughout the radiator core giving a perfect joint and far superior strength to the radiator, this coupled with high-grade plastic tanks and strong side mounting plates provides by far the best aftermarket radiator we have ever stocked, you can really feel and see the difference in these radiators.
Similar mechanical type core construction radiators are simply clamped together, these are often found weeping after a relatively short period due to the expansion and contraction of the radiator during normal operating conditions.
