A 100% new complete front section of the Rear prop shaft that fits from the rear of the Gearbox / Transfer box to the chassis cross-member on the Hilux Pickup Mk2 & Mk3 and Import models as listed in Specs / Fitment, by our UK suppliers IMS

These models have a rear prop shaft made in two section, this front section of the rear prop shaft has a single UJ up at the rear gearbox housing and now also comes complete with a new centre bearing carrier attached to the shaft. The centre bearing then bolts up to the chassis.

IMS manufactured prop shafts are professionally balanced individually and proven with a technical balance certificate enclosed with each prop shaft.

About the shaft:

Manufactured in the UK to the original design specification - Fits from Transfer box to centre bearing hanger
Features a high quality machined flange complete with a new Centre bearing pre-fitted
CNC Computer generated machining processes for flanges and uprated splines for increased shaft life-span
The latest PBM7 Balancing machine is used on every shaft - after which each shaft is individually marked for alignment
BSI registered and approved to Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008
So yes, more expensive than cheaper unbranded Imported shafts but the quality of this shaft is plain to see in the components used which is why RoughTrax has now chosen IMS to be our UK manufacturer for this shaft.

The rear prop on this model is split into 2 parts, this section is the front part of the rear prop shaft from the Gearbox to the prop centre bearing carrier, what's more, also comes complete with a new centre bearing carrier and flange fitted as per our image (Transfer box to Centre Bearing).
