The Front Crank Shaft oil seal by Cada Eristic for the LandCruiser 4.2 Diesel made of a Silicone cased steel material. A rotary shaft oil seal made from Silicone designed to provide a barrier to retain lubricant and to keep out contamination from moving components.
Fits models with the 12 valve or 24 valve 1HDT, 1HD-FT & 1HD-FTE engines that have the OE# 90311-58007 size 58x75x9/14.5. (Nb. Does not replace the earlier seal 90311-58006 which is approx.58x72x7)
The seal as with the OE seal also has the extra face lip helping prevent contaminants entering the vital part of the oil seal and so prolonging its life, made to OE specifications.
Silicone seals are excellent and work between extremes of temperatures often found in these areas.
