Complete set of eighteen high-quality AMC manufactured cylinder head stretch bolts, for engine codes 2L, 2LT, 3L & 5L (not CC !) renowned for their quality of materials and precision engineering, AMC head bolts are some of the highest quality you can buy.

Fits the Hilux Pickups, Hilux Surfs & Land Cruisers with the (2.4cc 2L & 2LT), (2.8cc 3L) and the (3.0cc 5L) engine codes.

AMC holds the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & TS-16949 First-Tier Equipment Supply Company certifications. This means the quality of the parts that AMC manufacture are of Original Equipment standards and supplied to vehicle manufacturers around the world.

Through close work with the Quality Control department, AMC ensure that their parts have the appropriate dimensions, tolerances, shapes and materials to guarantee perfect operation and that they are durable.

The cylinder head bolts along with the original bolts fitted from factory are referred to as "Stretch Bolts", this is because when the bolts are torqued correctly onto the cylinder head they stretch making the bolt slightly longer. Toyota state that if a bolt exceeds their minimum outer diameter then the bolt set should be replaced, if re-used then they may not hold the same torque applied again, causing potential further damage or in severe cases actually fracture the bolt.
Our advice, bear in mind the price of the set, would be to replace the bolt set whenever the head is removed.

Torque data settings are included within all AMC cylinder head bolt sets for guidance only. Please be aware the torque data settings provided are applicable for the use with gaskets made according to the OE specifications. Specifications of aftermarket gaskets from other sources may differ by the construction and type of materials used, gaskets must be checked as torque settings may need adjusting to coincide with the gasket used.
