Details

A Genuine Toyota Electronic Speedometer Sensor 83181-12020, fits the listed Hilux Pickups, Hilux Surfs & Land Cruisers with either Automatic or Manual transmissions that use a sensor.
Some models use a speedo cable so please check that your vehicle is running the senor option.

Supplied as packaged by Toyota, you will need to swop your nylon drive gear over from your original.
OE# 83181-12020 - supplied as per images
Has a 3 pin connector

This is the sensor that generally fits into the transfer case and sends the signal to the dashboard speedo gauge. It is held into the casing by one small bolt, once removed the sensor will slide out and the drive gear from your old unit is swopped over onto the new sensor.

Please Note:
This unit comes from Toyota in a sealed packet, their policy states that once opened this sensor can not be returned so please do check that the fault is with your sensor, it can't be fitted, tried and returned if found not to be the fault.
